The Amblève or Amel is a 93-kilometre long river in eastern Belgium in the province of Liège. It is a right tributary of the river Ourthe. It rises near Büllingen in the High Fens or Hoge Venen, Hohes Venn, and Hautes Fagnes, close to the border with Germany.
