This beautiful fountain is worth a visit. It sits between Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago, and is a great place to take a break with an ice cream, coffee, or beer, Full review by Potomac_11

A beautiful fountain with a backdrop of the buildings in Chicago on one side and the lake on the other. A charming area for a lunch break or to take a break and just take in the scene. Full review by esmirelda

It's easy to stop by when you are near the bean and Millennium park. I bet it's amazing in season. The footprint of the foundation is huge but it was not operating. Be sure to check if it's on! Full review by The_Gallagher_7

Not sure; it gets pretty cold next to Lake Michigan and so ice would be an issue. Check with the city's park department web site to see what their plans this year are.

I was there In June 2019 it was running. I’m not from Chicago but based on other answers it could be closed during winter months because of The Brutal Chicago Winter.
