Our kids are getting on the older side for this museum being 8 and 9 but they still had a lot of fun. Lots of different areas for the kids to play and explore. Everything is interactive for the kid… Full review by countrytravelers15

I think as adults you'd be better off going to the science center, Carnegie museum of natural history or art or the warhol. Pittsburgh's children's museum really is geared towards kids.
Is it possible to walk from here to the Heinz history center? I will be in town for just one day to visit and see as much Mr. Rodgers artifacts - and I prefer not to have to drive around the city all day- can it all be done by foot?

Per google maps it is 1.3 mile walk and will take 27 minutes. Cross the river on Heritage trail then normal city street sidewalks.
