Yes, we are in the mountains. There are lots of hills but not many curves however, if you go anywhere else, there will be curves galore!

The water is fine. And if there are any warnings that may cause harm to your health, it will be posted. I’ve never seen that in over 30 years. But when CA has had a bad drought and the water level drops, the algae gets bad. It is a beautiful lake. It’s a Great Lake to ski and fish! Too bad Konocti is still closed but that will be the place to stay when it reopens.

The lake and creeks have Blue Green Alge, which is really Cyanobacteria. During the hot months, the Cyanobacteria is abundant, and dogs have died.
