There is an iconic stone gazebo not too far along the bluff trail, I believe it has been there forever. Another choice would be down by the river by the remains of a low head damn, the water flows briskly for the Cedar and may make a nice background. Any of the stone structures in the park would be nice, but the gazebo is the one.
Q:
Is swimming safe in the river? Is there any concerns about nearby farm run off or such?
A:
I'm not 100% sure but...in the past, yes, farm run off was a concern in the area.
