Weather in the wet mountains is always a challenge. Weather is unpredictable. So my answer to your question is, "What is your experience level?" That is the real question. If your green or a beginner do you have the necessary gear or are you willing to spend the money for it. While hiking in colder and snow weather is always different and yet beautiful, it can also be dangerous because of the cold and wet conditions. It's no walk in the park so if you are ready for a real challenge and have the gear...go for it.
