A new report sheds some light on the company’s plans for WWE RAW‘s average runtime on Netflix moving forward. The Netflix premiere of WWE RAW clocked in at a bit over three hours. The second week came in a much more manageable two hours and thirty minutes.

The debut episode on January 6 ran for just over three hours, while the January 13 show was 30 minutes shorter, leading many to wonder if there will be a fixed runtime for "Raw" going forward, or if each week will be different than the last.

WWE Raw’s Netflix debut did not disappoint as a live event spectacular, but its decision to book a one-off standalone show meant a missed opportunity to hook casual fans.

WWE “Raw” left traditional cable on Monday, Jan. 6, debuting live on Netflix and now they’re reporting huge streaming numbers — outdoing most shows and sitting number 1 on Netflix. In a press release,

During the first “Raw” on Netflix, Roman Reigns defeated his cousin Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match for the sacred ula fala and the title of Tribal Chief. Later, Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to regain the women’s world championship title, Jey Uso defeated Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk won a brutal main event match against Seth Rollins.

A few months after WWE had the first two-hour Raw in over a decade, the company shifted back to the three-hour format for the Netflix debut. However, it’s never been made explicitly clear if this will be the standard moving forward or an outlier.

Netflix touts the viewership of WWE RAW. The January 13th episode of WWE RAW was the first edition of the show following the Netflix premiere. Per Netflix’s website, Monday’s episode of RAW is ranked fourth in global shows.
