That wasn't all. In the 11th over, Konstas topped his previous assault on Bumrah, bludgeoning 19 off the India quick, hitting two fours and a six to go with a double. The two overs meant that Konstas' 34 runs off 33 balls faced by Bumrah are the most any batter has scored off him in Tests, going past 25 off 40 by Alastair Cook in 2018.

Konstas became the first batter in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy to hit a six against Bumrah. While most of the other Australian batters struggled to even withstand the pressure posed by the marquee Indian pacer, Konstas showed a new way he could be tackled.
