The Pittsburgh Steelers do not plan to trade star outside linebacker T.J. Watt. Team president Art Rooney II stated the team has no plans to move their star edge rusher after being asked by KDKA’s Bob Pompeani. Watt, who is entering the last year of his contract, is likely be extended by the Steelers.

Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports Steelers owner Art Rooney said the team wants to look into extending OLB T.J. Watt this offseason. Watt is entering the final year of his four-year, $112 million extension where he’s set to make a base salary of $21 million with a cap hit of just over $30 million in 2025.
