USDA Announces Recall of More Than 24,000 Pounds of Frozen Foods Sold at Aldi
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced a recall of more than 24,000 pounds of a popular frozen Aldi product because it may be contaminated with a foreign material. Aldi’s frozen Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos have been recalled after metal pieces were found in the food.

California-based Bestway Sandwiches, Inc. recalled around 24,870 pounds of frozen chicken and cheese taquito products Saturday as they may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
