At 66 years old, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid is still as sharp as ever. Over the last six seasons, Reid has done the best work of what was already a Hall of Fame career, making the AFC Championship game at minimum and winning three Super Bowls during that span.

AFC West games exposed the Chiefs to emerging threats: the Chargers had hired a great head coach in Jim Harbaugh; the Broncos were rising under Sean Payton, a Super Bowl-winning coach whose first Denver team whipped the Chiefs in 2023.

Perhaps the coach with the best record in football — and in Chiefs history — could get some recognition. Don’t bet on it.
