The Cleveland Browns made a series of roster moves prior to their Week 3 matchup with the New York Giants. On Saturday, the team announced that they have signed running back Gary Brightwell and tight end Blake Whiteheart to the active roster from the team's practice squad.

The Giants gave up seven field goals and lost the game 21-18. The Browns bounced back from a Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys with an 18-13 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In that game, they kept the Jaguars to 13 points and just one touchdown.
