According to a post on the Bury Police of Greater Manchester’s Facebook page, the department seized the Cybertruck and reported the driver in the town of Whitefield. The driver of the truck was a permanent U.K. resident, but police say the truck was both registered and insured abroad.

A Tesla Cybertruck that was prohibited from driving in the UK has been seized after unlawfully driving in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. Officers from the Greater Manchester Police Transport Unit stopped the Cybertruck,

“The Tesla Cybertruck is not road legal in the UK and does not hold a certificate of conformity,” the police explained. “Whilst this may seem trivial to some, legitimate concerns exist around the safety of other road users or pedestrians if they were involved in a collision with a Cybertruck.”
