Everton continued to move away from danger in the Women's Super League with an emphatic win over struggling Leicester City at Walton Hall Park. Kelly Gago continued the good start to her Everton career with two goals, while Katja Snoeijs and Honoka Hayashi also scored for the Toffees.

A girl was left distressed after being hit in the face by a bottle during Everton's win over Leicester City on Saturday. Merseyside Police, along with Leicestershire Police, is appealing for information after the schoolgirl was hit in the face by the bottle thrown from the away section at Goodison Park during the Blues' 4-0 win.
