The Utah Jazz visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. Jalen Williams, who is listed as questionable on the injury report, and is dealing with a strained right hip after missing the Thunder’s 127-101 win against the Brooklyn Nets.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder’s MVP candidate, is an All-Star lock. Williams — who is second on the team in points and assists, third in rebounds and is a versatile cog in their top-ranked and historically disruptive defense — is their only other true candidate. That might be Williams’ simplest case.

It won despite the absence of Jalen Williams (right hip strain), who's also questionable for Wednesday's contest. Utah (10-31) suffered a 123-119 overtime road loss to New Orleans on Monday.
