WhatsApp emoji reactions first started appearing in chats on May 5, 2022, and since then, the Meta-owned messaging platform has been progressively rolling it out to every user around the world.

WhatsApp Reactions is finally available to iOS and Android users. This feature allows users to send an emoji reaction instead of typing messages. Currently, 6 emoji reactions are available to use.
