A historic blowout nearly turned into a historic collapse for Alabama. No matter how the win happened, we learned a lot about DeBoer.

Up 30-7 with less than two minutes remaining in what was as dominant a first half as you'll see, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was furious.  There were countless offseason stories about how nice and normal DeBoer is in comparison to his fiery and maniacal predecessor.

Kalen DeBoer has Alabama off to a 4-0 start. UW fans, meanwhile, are likely wondering if they'll ever again see the glory that DeBoer brought them in his two-year stint.

The Crimson Tide jumped out to a 28-0 lead early in the second quarter of Saturday's game, but saw the Bulldogs charge back in the second half and take a 34-33 lead late in the fourth quarter after a 67-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Carson Beck to Dillon Bell.

The nation watched as the No. 4 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide bullied the No. 2 ranked Georgia Bulldogs for two and a half quarters. Then, they watched as this same Alabama team needed some fireworks to re-take the lead and ultimately hold on in arguably the best game of the young 2024 college football season.
