Santa Barbara High School is just over an hour north of the wildfires that have hit the Los Angeles area this past week. Boys basketball coach Greg Zuffelato said refugees have traveled to the area to stay at Airbnb while resolving their own housing situations.

Some of the top high school basketball players in the country take the floor at the Hoophall Classic this week in Massachusetts. The five-day showcase begins on Thursday, Jan. 16, with at least four games occurring on each day.
