Eight bosses have left Stoke since the start of 2018 – Mark Hughes, Paul Lambert, Gary Rowett, Nathan Jones, Michael O’Neill, Alex Neil, Steven Schumacher and Pelach – as the club has tried to arrest then tackle a slide into the bottom half of the Championship.

Stoke City have parted ways with manager Narcís Pelach, the club announced Friday evening. The Potters currently sit 19th in the Championship after picking up just five wins from their opening 23 games. “Narcís is a talented coach with huge potential," Sporting Director Jon Walters said.

Narcis Pelach has been sacked as Stoke City head coach. The 36-year-old only took over in September but a run of nine matches without a win has sealed his fate before the end of December, capped by last night's home defeat to Leeds United.
