Madonna has surprised her fans by performing a stand-up comedy show in New York. Patrons at a New York comedy club were stunned to realise the act on stage in front of them was none other than pop legend Madonna.

Madonna dropped by the New York comedy club this weekend and performed a surprise comedy set. The pop legend was brought to the club by her friend Amy Schumer, according to The Sun. An Instagram photo posted by Schumer shows her sitting next Madonna at a table with a sign reading, “This table is reserved for Comedy Cellar comedians only.”
