Now that the College Football Playoff Rankings have been released, the race towards the 12-team postseason has become extremely real. The playoff picture gained some clarity in Week 11 with hopefuls from around the country in action.

In the preseason Big 12 media poll, the top five were Utah, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Arizona. At least K-State looks good. It's been a nightmare for the rest of the group, including Arizona's 56-12 dismantling by UCF and Oklahoma State's 42-21 loss to Arizona State on Saturday.

A wild, upset-filled Saturday wreaked havoc on the College Football Playoff rankings. No. 3 Georgia and No. 4 Miami both lost on the road, and No. 15 LSU got blown out at home by No. 11 Alabama in an SEC showdown that was essentially a playoff elimination game.
