A winter storm warning has been issued for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as the entire region could get blanketed in snow.

Wintry weather will really ramp up this afternoon, with the heaviest and most widespread snow expected around dinnertime (early evening).

On Saturday at 2:49 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning valid from Sunday 7 a.m. until Monday 1 a.m. for Western Chester, Eastern Chester, Western Montgomery and Upper Bucks as well as Berks and Lehigh counties.
