Quarterbacks aren't the end-all, be-all when it comes to competing for NFL championships. More often than not, in fact, signal-callers are only as elite as their supporting cast, especially when it comes to playoff football.

There’s no such problem as the 2024 MVP race enters its final stages. Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and Saquon Barkley are superstar talents whose conventional and/or advanced stats match historic standards for MVP consideration.

"Goff is coming off a season that saw him post a career-best 111.8 passer rating, which was second-best in the NFL behind Jackson. He completed 72.4% of his passes, including an early-season game during which all 18 of his throws were completed, and logged a career-high 37 touchdown passes.

Lamar Jackson may be closing in on his third NFL MVP award after leading the Ravens to another AFC North crown.

Part of the excitement of this matchup will be the MVP debate. Both are very deserving. Consider there's been three instances in NFL history of a player with 40+ total touchdowns, 500+ rushing yards and fewer than seven interceptions in a season.
