The changes so far apply to God of War Ragnarök, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered. It's not clear whether it will be rolled out to other games shortly, but it is an encouraging sign nonetheless.

Sony is dropping the need to link some of its PC games to a PSN account, but it will offer in-game rewards to those who do sign in.

Sony’s biggest single-player games on PC will no longer require you to link to a PlayStation Network account to play them. In a press release Wednesday, the company said that linking a PlayStation Account will now be optional for select PlayStation titles on PC.
