Dakota Kai came seconds from winning the inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship match against Lyra Valkyria earlier this month, but a new report indicates she could potentially miss some time ahead of the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.

In August 2024, she once again injured her knee, this time suffering a torn torn meniscus. Kai was written off WWE TV after an attack by Pure Fusion Collective. She returned in November 2024 from the injury as Damage CTRL turned face for the first time.

Pwinsider is reporting that Kai has been pulled from WWE’s road schedule following her most recent match on the January 20th episode of RAW. Kai teamed with IYO SKY to face off against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler during that show.

Dakota Kai reportedly suffered an injury this past Monday on Raw and has suffered a concussion. It's not clear how long she'll be out of action.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Dakota Kai has been pulled off the road and is not at WWE Raw on January 27th. The report states, "we are told that Kai was "hurt" during her tag team bout with IYO SKY against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. One person we spoke with believes it may have been the rough bump she took on a missile dropkick.

Dakota Kai is reportedly injured. PWInsider reports that they’ve been told Kai was hurt on WWE Raw last week, although the outlet notes they “have not 100% confirmed the issue.

The injury is believed to have occurred on Raw last Monday during her tag match with Damage CTRL teammate IYO SKY against Pure Fusion Collective’s Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark.
