Batman made a surprise appearance during the latest episode of the DCU animated series Creature Commandos, and James Gunn recently opened up that when we do meet the Caped Crusader, it’ll be without an origin.

In an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Creature Commandos creator James Gunn and director Dean Lorey spoke about Batman’s inclusion in the latest episode. Gunn mentioned that the first edit of the episode featured more of Batman,

With Creature Commandos adding an established Batman to the DCU, James Gunn is right to skip another origin story for the Caped Crusader.
