Kirill Kaprizov will have surgery and be out a minimum of four weeks for the Minnesota Wild because of a lower-body injury.

If Kaprizov has surgery this week for a lower-body injury that has been ailing him since December, he would miss six weeks, per sources.

Michael Russo and Joe Smith of The Athletic are reporting that Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov could require surgery. The superstar recently returned after missing time and has played in three games since his attempted comeback on January 23 against Utah.

Kaprizov, of course, was removed from the injured reserve last week and played for the first time in 2025 the past three games but now there's a report from Wild insider Michael Russo indicating that Kaprizov could require shoulder surgery, which would effectively end his season.
