The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 1:53 p.m. EST (1853 GMT), less than 24 hours after another Starlink flight from California.
The drone - with a wingspan of 12.5 metres - is to be used for earth observations including environmental monitoring, disaster response and a range of commercial applications.
