A Sayreville police officer and 10-year-old boy are both hospitalized in stable condition following a dog attack and shooting at Route 35 hotel

Sayreville, N.J. police shot and killed pitbulls that were mauling a 10-year-old boy at a Knights Inn Hotel, officials said. An officer was hit by a ricochet bullet.
