New Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer has decided on his offensive coordinator, as Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Klayton Adams is headed to Dallas to work with Dak Prescott and Co.
Cowboys hire Klayton Adams as offensive coordinator amid coaching shake-up
The Cowboys also considered Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, Falcons tight ends coach Kevin Koger and Lions running backs coach Scottie Montgomery for the job before hiring Adams. Adams takes the job left by Schottenheimer’s promotion after he was elevated to the head coaching position following two seasons as the team’s OC.
This selection would address a need but it would feel like a waste of a premium selection for the Dallas Cowboys.
