Peacock's original series adaptation of Frederick Forsyth's novel is much more faithful than the previous movies.

The Day of the Jackal debuts in the US on Peacock on Thursday, Nov. 14, with the release of the show's first five episodes. The remaining episodes drop weekly on Thursdays, concluding with a two-episode finale on Dec. 12.

The actor stars in Peacock’s gripping 10-part adaptation of the 1971 bestseller about an assassin, who in this telling is hired to kill a tech billionaire.

US viewers can watch The Day of the Jackal exclusively on Peacock from Thursday, November 14. The action thriller consists of ten episodes: the first five will be available at debut, followed by a weekly release of one episode, up until the shows two-part conclusion on December 12.
