Governor Maura Healey appointed Superintendent and Special Sheriff Lori Streeter as Interim Franklin County Sheriff on Tuesday.
The man was acting erratic inside a home on Devils Hollow Road, police said, and a Franklin County sheriff’s deputy shot him.
