Free agent outfielder Jurickson Profar signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

Profar, 32, and the Padres were never close in talks for a reunion.

The outfielder is set to make $12 million in 2025 and $15 million in each of the following two seasons, according to a release.
