Free agent outfielder Jurickson Profar signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

Profar, a former No. 1 prospect who made his debut with Texas in 2012, earned his first All-Star selection last season with the San Diego Padres.

Kim struggled at the plate in 2024, slashing .233/.330/.370 with a .700 OPS and a 96 OPS+. However, he did post a 2.6 WAR and hit 11 home runs while driving in 47 runs and stealing 22 bases.
