The San Francisco 49ers entered their Week 18 finale on the road against the Arizona Cardinals with several starters ruled out. Quarterback Brock Purdy, receiver Deebo Samuel and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir were all ruled out with injuries.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will miss the team’s regular-season finale against the Arizona Cardinals with the right elbow injury he suffered in Monday night’s game, coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday. As Shanahan said a day earlier, the injury is not considered serious and he should be fine entering the offseason.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters Thursday that Purdy will not play Week 18 against the Arizona Cardinals. Purdy suffered a right elbow contusion with nerve inflammation in San Francisco's 40-34 loss to the Detroit Lions on "Monday Night Football."
