EA is set to re-release The Sims and The Sims 2 this week as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, it’s claimed. Citing a “source familiar with the plans”, Kotaku says the publisher will be bringing back the first two games in The Sims series by the end of January.

The Sims, originally released in 2000, has never been available digitally on PC, while The Sims 2 (2004) hasn't been available since 2014.
