Tyrese Maxey and the Sixers avoided an embarrassing outcome as they were shorthanded against the New York Knicks, but they ended up with a familiar result, taking another loss, which occurred in overtime.

The 2024-25 season has not gone as planned for the Philadelphia 76ers. Their Big 3 of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey have played only 10 games together--finishing only seven of those games--as injuries have decimated the roster.
