A busy weekend of racing action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway came to a close Sunday afternoon with the Battle on the Bricks, a six-hour IMSA sportscar race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Sebastien Bourdais captured the pole position for the Battle at the Bricks, putting the No. 01 Cadillac Racing Cadillac V-Series.R atop the starting grid for the six-hour race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Bourdais’s lap of 1:14.592 was enough to give him his first pole in nearly two dozen races at IMS between IndyCar and sports cars.

The six-hour Battle on the Bricks endurance race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course is set for 56 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship entries on 22 September.
