The Pushpa makers released the second installment of the franchise, Pushpa 2: The Rule this year. The recently released Telugu film serves as a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna who have reprised their roles as Pushpa Raj and Srivalli from the original.

The Rule' continues to dominate, crossing Rs 1,000 crore worldwide on Day 27. It's the third Hindi film to achieve this milestone, following SRK’s 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan'. The film is now approaching Rs 800 crore in Hindi markets and setting new records in Indian cinema,

The blockbuster film has earned around ₹1159.36 crore in India, with a net collection of ₹2.36 crore on Day 26. The film features Allu Arjun and has released a new song recently.

Pushpa 2 grossed Rs. 39.50 crore approx at the Indian box office in its fourth weekend. The total gross now stands just shy of the Rs. 1300 crore mark, at Rs. 1294 crore approx. There was limited growth over the weekend compared to the earlier weeks but that makes sense in the ongoing holiday periods when weekdays are already at elevated levels.

The Rule, the commercial actioner starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, has maintained its stride at the box office ever since its release. The film cruised past the ₹1,700 crore milestone at the worldwide box office on Sunday.
