NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu is adjusting his contract for the 2025 season, according to a Fox 8 source. Mathieu’s new contract will lower his base salary and cap hit for 2025.
Mathieu was initially scheduled to play in 2024 on the second season of a two-year, $13.75 million deal with a base salary of $6.25 million and a roster bonus of $1 million.
