(WJAR) — Blackstone-Millville Regional High School will be closed on Friday, January 31, after a student received a threat. The Blackstone Police Department has deemed the threat to be not credible, but officials say the school will be closed “out of an abundance of caution.”

A Massachusetts high school is closed Friday amid an investigation into a threat that was made against a student, officials said.

There will be no school Friday at Blackstone-Millville Regional High School as authorities continue to investigate a threat made on social media. School will be held as scheduled for middle and elementary students.
