Viewers will recall that Season 1 ended on Mark’s innie getting a dose of his outie’s life thanks to the Overtime Contingency and realizing that his wife Gemma, who also has an innie at Lumon named Ms. Casey, is still alive.

The psychological thriller is produced by actor and comedian Ben Stiller, who revealed a third season is on the way on a recent podcast, according to Deadline. Three years passed between the first and second season, and Stiller said a plan for shooting new episodes would be announced "very soon."

The director and executive producer spoke to IndieWire about that finale freeze-frame, what the finale means for Season 3, and Mark's Innie meeting his Outie: "We were definitely worried about it."
