Tesla watchers were taken by surprise when a redesigned version of the Model Y electric crossover SUV, which was not announced by Tesla, showed up on the company's website in China and in nearby markets.
First look at Tesla’s new color on updated Model Y
Now, with the new Model Y in China, Tesla has launched a new color called “Glacier Blue”: It is a much lighter blue than Tesla’s ‘deep blue metallic’ currently offered on vehicles outside of China. But it has now been spotted coming out of Tesla’s factory in Shanghai, and it looks even lighter than on the configurator renders (via xiaoteshushu ):
