Apr 29, 2021 · Gov Nikki Haley signed a law allowing 3 rods per person from shore in freshwater years ago. I have never seen a regulation limiting the number of surf fishing rods in SC and I always fish 3-4 with no issues, other than bait stealers running me around rebaiting.

Mar 4, 2016 · Great time to fish that area. Puppy drum, mullet and blues should all be available in the surf at that time. Dogfish and brown sharks are almost always around, especially at night. Shrimp cut bait and sand fleas are the baits of choice.
