Jul 20, 2007 · As a pp said Big Lots gets in either last years models or furniture that they can no longer sell for whatever reason. Example: The truck delivering the furniture to the store was in an accident and the store got paid by the insurance company and therefore can not sell the furniture as new even though nothing is wrong with it.

Jan 18, 2011 · Some things are better quality than others. Last year our Big Lots had really nice Broyhill closeout stuff. A friend of mine bought a solid wood coffee table and end tables from Big Lots about 8 years ago and they are still going strong. I would be more likely to purchase furniture from Big Lots than other big box stores like Walmart or Kmart.

Jan 21, 2011 · I visit my Big Lots at least once a week. They have the most interesting stuff to peruse. I like the organic snacks and the cleaning products. I hardly ever go to Walmart anymore. I plan on purchasing my next sofa from Big Lots. I love saving money!

Apr 3, 2006 · We got a loft for our son at the Room Docotor. They had other bedroom furniture there and it seems to be a good price. The loft is good quality. The room dr. is right on College ave close to Damons. A new furniture place opened in the Hills Plaza right beside Firestone (acrossed from McDonalds) I havent compared prices but they looked good.

Apr 20, 2018 · Our landscapers always moves the kids big plastic stuff when they were little. The landscapes move my neighbors trampoline every week. I would buy one of those big outdoor rugs and put that down I know lots of people who don’t have room for all of their outdoor furniture so they have someone come and shrink wrap it for the winter.

Aug 19, 1999 · This is simply not true. A lot of furniture is still made in the US. Of all of the EA furniture in my house, only some hand carved pieces of one piece were made over seas, and the rest was assembled here in the US. The furniture making industry is still a major employer in North Carolina. Anne Anne

Dec 29, 2024 · Thank you for this thread. Have lots of decluttering plans for this year. Did get rid of 1 bag of Christmas ornaments in Dec, so that was good. Goals: Hall closet-at least 1 shelf. Includes towels/washcloths we never use, and possibly old sheets/blankets.
