Poison Ivy (aka Pamela Isley) is the deuteragonist of the DC Universe 's animated Harley Quinn franchise. She is Harley Quinn 's best friend, eventual girlfriend, and fellow Arkham Asylum escapee. In Season 4, Ivy became the CEO of the Legion of Doom, but she eventually realized it interfered with her real goals.

The series is written and executive-produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, and follows the adventures of Harley Quinn and her girlfriend Poison Ivy after leaving her ex-boyfriend, the Joker. The show premiered on November 29, 2019.
