Billy is a puppet that has appeared in the Saw franchise. It was used by John "Jigsaw" Kramer, often appearing on a television screen, or occasionally in person, to describe the details of the traps and the means by which the test subjects could survive.

Several decades later, several traumatic events changed John's life dramatically and caused him to eventually turn into an infamous serial killer known as Jigsaw, who tested his victims' will to survive by putting them in potentially deadly situations which they could only escape by making physical and emotional sacrifices.

Billy the Puppet usually appears in videos that provide the victims of John Kramer, aka Jigsaw, with the necessary instructions for the killer's games. However, Billy also frequently appeared personally, often riding a red tricycle.
