5.7 Hemi cylinder deactivation circuit error codes
Aug 31, 2021 · So I have a baffling issue with the MDS and cylinder deactivation error codes. I have checked the ignition coils and plugs, all look normal. I replaced the 4 Cylinder Deactivation Solenoids, all were looking pretty bad.

Some gremlins appear with a battery that's starting to get low, but is still able to start the vehicle. Easy stuff first. Battery as stated above. Fuel Pressure. Oil Pressure. Plugs. Compression test. Scope #8.

Nov 19, 2021 · A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.

Aug 30, 2011 · I have a 2007 Jeep Commander, 5.7l V8 Hemi. 88,000 miles. Started getting a misfire on cylinder 4 code last week. Changed the plugs (with Champion 570 copper plugs), changed out the coil pack, replaced the fuel injector for that cylinder, changed the oil (5/20 synthetic) and then replaced the MDS solenoid.

Nov 25, 2024 · Have you reset the codes and see if they almost immediately come back? If you're getting a P0750, it could need a solenoid pack, the PCM/TCM, or the wiring/plug on top of the transmission. Some advanced scanners can functionally check each shift solenoid.
