For the purposes of this thread, Avengers 1-4 count as a "trilogy", despite consisting of 4 films, given that they are one continuous story.

My family and I are moving there in a couple weeks and need to find a new retail outlet. I've run a search and found 4 different stores in the area. Checked out their web sites, etc, etc. Have not personally visited any of them, yet.

Aug 4, 2010 · Great points. Maybe I should blame the fandom more than the director. I will also say this it just seemed that the media started coming after DC shortly after BVS was announced. I think that is when Marvel vs DC war started. Comic book fans literally picked sides instead of liking both like most of us did growing up.

General audiences tend to lump all comic book films together, and since Marvel (Disney) was largely successful in its heyday, it sort of became the face of all these different brands and properties. That's just the nature of the beast.
