They fit under the alt metal banner, but they're adjacent to nu-metal for sure. I think they have too many styles to really be pinned down much like SOAD, Faith No More, and Mr. Bungle. Mar 15, 2019 · Anyway, I think baggy streetwear for nu-metal fashion was just a 90s thing, the same way it was for skate punk and 90s metalcore. I don't think we deliberately chose to wear those clothes, it was the 90s who made us wear them.
